In the portal areas of cirrhotic liver among the connective tissue is seen proliferation of gall duct epithelium (arrows). The gall ducts can be recognized by the cuboidal epithelium. In the portal areas there are also an increased amount of inflammatory cells. 200x magnification, HE-staining.
