Hyperplasia (Hyperplasia follicularis lymphodi) 40x
The follicles in the lymph node are sharp-edged, round in shape, partly elliptical, and they are clearly distinguished from the background. In the middle of the follicles there are big germinal centers (*), which consist of many different kinds of cells. Around the germinal centers is seen a bank of small lymphocytes. Outside the follicles normal lympocytes are seen. 40x magnification, HE-staining.
