Pyelonephritis (pyelonephritis acuta) 40x
There in a very strong acute inflammation in this kidney. In the interstitium some haemorrhage and plenty of neutrophilic granulocytes are seen along with some eosinophilic granulocytes. Acute inflammatory cells form small abscesses (*). Glomeruli are mainly normal. 40x magnification, HE-staining.
